Description: This a really one of the best sounding snares in my collection believe it or not. The Steel shell give the drum a super bright tone that cuts through with projection and clear resonance and a super loud crack. Great for any style of music. In general these drums sound surprisingly good because of the solid Pearl design and quality of build. I customized the snare with claws and hooks and Hoops.
 
Condition: Condition: The drum is used and has no problems of any kind. It has some a few minor scratches from normal use and some marks on the shell (inspect photos carefully) and has light pitting on the chrome you have to zoom in to see it. The drum is in perfect working condition and sounds positively amazing. It is important to know that when you receive this drum it will be detuned completely. This is to protect the instrument during shipping. That being said it is important to tune the drum properly to get the best sounding instrument.

*I have a large collection of drums and while most of the new heads have never been played on sometime they have lightly played to tune the drum up. Also I have had local drummers who wanted to buy a snare try it out before buying. Unfortunately they were time wasters and never bought the drum but played the heads a little bit. The point is the heads have never been used or played on at length.
